A 4-Week Workshop for Parents
Guidance, practical tools, and connection.
When your teen is struggling with an eating disorder, it can be incredibly confusing and painful to know how to help. Many parents feel overwhelmed, unsure what to say, and worried about making things worse.
I’ve worked closely with individuals and families at many stages of the recovery journey — from the early days of recognizing that something isn’t right to the longer process of healing and rebuilding trust with food and the body.
I created this workshop to offer guidance, clarity, and support for parents walking alongside their teen in recovery.
This workshop offers both practical tools and a supportive space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other parents who understand what you’re going through. Parents are often carrying an enormous amount of worry, responsibility, and self-doubt — and this space is meant to support you, not judge or blame you.
Many parents also find themselves navigating moments when their teen resists help, pushes back, or shuts down conversations. Part of this workshop is exploring ways to remain a steady and supportive presence during those moments.
You might recognize some of these experiences:
Together We Will Explore:
✓ How eating disorders function and why certain patterns can persist
✓ Communication approaches that reduce conflict and strengthen connection
✓ Ways to stay grounded when emotions run high
✓ How to support your teen without unintentionally reinforcing the eating disorder
✓ Caring for yourself while supporting your child
While recovery can take time and the path is not always straightforward, many families find that with the right understanding and support, things can begin to feel more manageable. The goal isn’t to become a perfect parent, but to feel more informed, supported, and steadier as you walk alongside your teen through the recovery process.
