A Little About Me.

Hi, I’m Sara. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Eating Disorder Specialist, and for over 15 years I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of the most vulnerable and pivotal seasons of their lives. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where each person’s lived experience is respected and honored — recognizing that every story unfolds within a unique set of identities, relationships, and circumstances — and holding those contexts with care.

From my own experience and the stories people share with me, I know how layered life can be. There are seasons of deep loss and seasons of joy, stretches of routine that feel numbing, and chaotic times that are hard to slow down. Sometimes we find ourselves acting in ways that don’t align with who we want to be—doing whatever we can to cope, manage emotional pain, or simply get through the day when we feel disconnected from ourselves.

I’ve also witnessed how powerful therapy can be. When there is space to slow down, feel supported, and make sense of what’s happening inside, healing and reconnection begin.

I think of therapy as a place to pause within the complexity—to hold both the pain and the possibility—and rediscover a steadier, truer connection to yourself. At the heart of my work is a deep trust in your innate capacity to grow, heal, and come home to yourself.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me curled up with a good book and tea, laughing with loved ones, or nerding out in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Nature keeps me grounded, and I’m endlessly curious—drawn to both the resilience of the human spirit and the quiet wisdom of the natural world.
