Adolescence can be a time of big emotions, shifting identities, and growing independence—and it’s not always easy to navigate. Therapy offers teens a neutral and supportive space to make sense of their experiences, understand their emotions and patterns, strengthen coping skills, and learn to express their needs and feelings more clearly.
Many teens aren’t sure about therapy at first. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and paced in a way that helps teens feel comfortable and understood. I’m intentional about finding creative and engaging ways to connect, helping teens feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

Learning that your child is struggling with an eating disorder can bring fear, confusion, and a deep sense of helplessness. Many parents find themselves replaying the past, wondering what they missed or feeling a quiet sense of guilt. If this feels familiar, please know that eating disorders are complex. They develop from many factors, and early signs are often difficult to see.
I deeply respect the vulnerability and trust it takes to seek support for your child.
I often think of eating disorder therapy as navigating with a compass rather than a GPS. My clinical experience, your wisdom as a parent, and your child’s strengths help guide the process. Recovery rarely follows a clear, step-by-step path. Together, we work to understand your child’s relationship with food and their body and support a path toward meaningful healing.
Many parents worry that an eating disorder will define their child’s future. The truth is that full recovery is possible. In my experience, many individuals who recover go on to develop a more compassionate and balanced relationship with food and their body through the insight and growth that emerge in therapy.

When a child is struggling, it often affects the whole family. Parents can find themselves carrying worry, frustration, guilt, and uncertainty about how best to help.
Therapy offers a space to process these emotions, better understand your own responses, and develop ways to navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence. The goal is to feel more connected to your child and able to parent from a calmer, more grounded place.
For parents who would also benefit from guidance in a small group setting, I also offer parent support workshops, where we explore practical tools, common challenges, and ways to support recovery while caring for yourself as well.
