Therapy & Consultation for Therapists

Clinical Consultation

I offer consultation for therapists and treatment providers seeking support with complex cases or looking to deepen their clinical work. Consultations can be one-time or ongoing and are tailored to your needs. I’m committed to keeping consultation accessible, including offering lower-fee options for early-career therapists.

Free Monthly Eating Disorder Consultation Group

Second Monday of each month | 12:00–1:00 PM (Zoom)

Therapists are invited to bring cases related to eating disorders, disordered eating, or body image concerns to explore through a collaborative, depth-oriented clinical lens. You’re also welcome to come simply to listen, connect with other therapists, and be part of the conversation. No prior experience with eating disorder treatment or depth-oriented therapy is required. If you’re interested in joining, please email me to RSVP and receive the Zoom link.

Therapy for Therapists & Helping Professionals

When you're holding space for others while navigating your own relationship with food and body.

Therapists and helping professionals are not immune to struggles with food, body image, or eating disorders — even those who spend their days supporting others through healing. Many of us are drawn to this work through our own journeys. Personal experience can deepen empathy and clinical insight, but it can also make the work feel more personally complex at times.

The responsibility of caring for others, holding space for pain, and maintaining a professional identity can make it difficult to acknowledge when something inside isn’t okay. You might find yourself supporting clients through recovery while privately feeling stuck in patterns around food, control, or self-criticism.

When working with eating disorders, our own bodies and relationships with food are often present in the room, even when unspoken. Clients may project their fears or beliefs about food and bodies onto the therapist, and holding these dynamics can carry a quiet emotional weight over time. At times, you might notice yourself feeling triggered, revisiting old beliefs, or encountering areas of recovery that deserve deeper attention.

Many therapists quietly carry shame or self-doubt when parts of their own experience feel unresolved. The isolation that can accompany this can be profound.

I work with therapists and helping professionals who want space to explore their own relationship with food, their body, or their experiences with an eating disorder. Here, you don’t have to be the professional in the room. Your experience will be met with the same care, respect, and compassion you offer your clients.

Your humanity does not disqualify you from this work — it is often part of what allows you to do it with such depth and care.

8-Week Process Group for Therapist Trainees & Pre-Licensed Therapists

Early clinical work can be both meaningful and emotionally complex. As a therapist-in-training or pre-licensed clinician, you may find yourself holding a great deal — caring deeply for your clients while also navigating uncertainty, self-doubt, and the emotional impact of the work.

This 8-week process group offers a supportive space to pause and reflect on your experience alongside others who are in a similar stage of professional development.

Together, we’ll explore themes that commonly arise early in a therapist’s career — including imposter syndrome, boundaries, countertransference, and the challenge of holding space for others while also learning how to care for yourself within the work.

The group offers an opportunity to deepen self-awareness, process the emotional layers of the work, and reflect on how becoming a therapist is shaping you — both personally and professionally.
