People start therapy for a variety of reasons. We are often nudged into this space when an aspect of our life is not working. It might be externally provoked by life stressors like relational conflict or an unwanted habit. Or this nudge can be internally driven. It might show up as depression or take the form of anxiety, low self-esteem, or anger. Sometimes it appears as loneliness, feeling lost, or operating on autopilot. These nudges are important signals, and therapy is an opportunity to lean in and discover new ways of experiencing and connecting to yourself, your relationships, and the world.
